The Taskanis Creek Trail is a very interesting, easy 1.6-mile path. It takes the visitor through field, forest and marsh. Consequently, varied wildlife may be seen along this trail. The park offers a small brochure which details points of interest.
Directions: From Williamsburg, VA, From Williamsburg, take I-64 north to Croaker Exit 231B. Go north on Rt. 607 for 1 mile. Turn right onto Rt. 606. The park entrance is on the left about 1.5 miles. Continue straight on park road which dead-ends at visitor center. Trailhead is located at the picnic grove and playground area to the left of the visitor center.
