Experience the natural attraction of Cave Point from White Trail.

The White Trail makes a 2.5-mile double loop through a beautiful mixed forestland. Reachable from a connector to White Trail is the nearby attraction of Cave Point County Park (three miles east of Valmy). This site features 20-foot-high limestone outcroppings towering above shimmering Lake Michigan. The county park is named for the number of interesting shallow caves created by thousands of years of lapping Lake Michigan. The largest cave at the site is 40 feet deep. Cross-country skiers use the scenic route in winter.

Directions: From Sturgeon Bay, WI, Travel northeast for nine miles along Hwy. 57 / 42. Turn east on Clark Lake Road. Proceed miles to the park entrance. The trail starts alongside the interpretive center.
