The Atsion Recreation Area sits on the southern shore of Atsion Lake and includes a beach and designated swimming area, bathroom and changing facilities, picnic area, two playgrounds, and a short nature trail. Entry fees are charged Memorial Day to Labor Day. Swimming permitted only when lifeguards are on duty (Memorial Day to Labor Day).

  • Campers and those renting cabins across the lake at the Atsion camping area get free access to the rec area as part of the overnight fee.
  • Bring a bike if you plan on camping at Atsion, as this is the quickest and easiest way to get over to the recreation area.
