Turkey Neck Trail, blazed in blue, connects with Big Meadows Interpretive Trail at the juncture of the observation tower. Turkey Neck is an easy to moderate 1.5-mile loop along side swamp and marsh land. One can take the Big Meadows Trail back to the trailhead or continue left on Turkey Neck which has a short spur to the campground or continue right where you will come to the main road and parking area.

Directions: From Montross, VA, The park is located approximately 5 miles northeast of Montross, Virginia off Rt. 3. From Fredericksburg, Virginia, take Rt. 3 east for approximately 40 miles. Upon entering the park, you will find Turkey Neck Trail on the right-hand side of the road before you get to Campground A. It also connects with Big Meadow Interpretive Trail alongside Yellow Swamp.
