The Yellow Trail travels from the campground loop over Tobyhanna Creek and into the Bender Swamp area. It continues to its terminus along SR 196. This is not a loop trail, nor does it connect with any other trails on this end, so the hiker will have to turn around and retrace their steps. The trail is obviously blazed with yellow markers and is approximately 2.75 miles one-way. It is considered a moderately difficult hike.

Directions: From Tobyhanna, Pa, Take SR 423 north for 2.1 miles to the state park. Take Lakeside Trail in a northeast direction around the lake to reach Yellow Trail.

Elevation: 1,500 feet

Elevation Gain: Minimal

Difficulty: Moderate
