The 21-mile Logan Boy Scout Trail traverses both the park and state forest in the form of a figure eight. It is marked with red blazes. Hikers will make numerous ascents to rocky ridges along with deep 2-mile descents. Several developed picnic areas are crossed. The long-distance Buckeye Trail intersects at several points.

Camp Dulen which is shown on the south loop of the park's map is available to scouts only by contacting the combined office of Scioto Trail and Tar Hollow Forest at 740-663-2523.

Directions: From Adelphi, OH, Travel south about 7 miles on State Route 327. Take Tar Hollow Road (FR 10) west. Travel to the Pine Lake Picnic Area.
