This trail has been described as a horseback riders delight. The 5 mile path offers scenic views through beautiful countryside.

Equestrians have exclusive rights to this scenic 5-mile loop trail. It beings on the east side of U.S. Highway 17 at the top of the large trailer parking lot. Traveling along an old service road, the trail changes from gravel to grass. Views are exceptional.

At the trailhead, users will find a picnic table, grill, trash can, hitching post, and starting block. Also, an 11-stall barn is available for a fee. Check at the park office for details.

Directions: From Paris, VA, Sky Meadows State Park is located two miles south of Paris, Virginia or seven miles north of I-66, Exit 23 from Rt. 17. The park entrance is on Rt. 710 (Edmonds Lane). To get to this bridle trail, stay on Rt. 17 a short distance and look for a sign and parking lot on the right. There will be a fish pond on the left. Signage is good.
