This recently reestablished old trail traverses Box Camp Ridge and intersects with the Pacific Crest Trail a few miles north of Marble Valley. Box Camp Trail offers a scenic alternative to the more heavily traveled Canyon Creek route.

Directions: From Fort Jones, Travel 14 miles down the Scott River Road (County Hwy. 7F01). Turn left onto Forest Service Road 44N45 and follow it for about 6 miles to the intersection with Forest Service Rd 44N44. Turn right onto this road and follow it north for about two miles to another intersection. Turn left here and continue fro about one mile to the intersection of FS 44N44 with FS 44N45.
