Botanical bounty is enjoyed along this easy 2.2-mile hike.

Experience scenic lake views and botanical wonders along the 2.2-mile Lynd Point-Fern Loop. Rock outcroppings, dolomite ridgeline, cabin ruins, and photogenic wildflowers are enjoyed. Ask the park office for a wild flower identification brochure detailing bloom seasons. Park species include lady slipper, bloodroot, trillium, Indian pipe, and hepatica to name just a few.

Directions: From Ellison Bay, WI, Take Hwy. 42 north and east for 2.3 miles to County NP. Travel south and east for 2.5 miles to South Newport Lane. Head south 0.9 mile to park entrance. Trail is accessed from third parking area.
