Bull Run Lake, located on Forest Road 8N13 off of Highway 4 at Stanislaus Meadow, offering a 3.5 mile hike on beginning and intermediate terrain. The first half-mile is fairly level in a beautiful meadow, then it becomes a more difficult uphill slope. After two miles this trail connects with Heiser Lake Trail. Visitor's Permit is required for overnight camping.

Directions: From Highway 4, Near Stanislaus Meadow and south of Mosquito Lakes Campground take Forest Rd. 8N13 to trailhead.
