The self-guiding section of the two-mile Kildoo Nature Trail provides easy access to the exciting and beautiful world surrounding Slippery Rock Creek. You may begin the trail from the historic McConnell's Mill site and travel south along the river. The park office offers an interpretive brochure.

Directions: From New Castle, PA, Take US 422 for approximately 7 miles. Turn right onto McConnell's Mill Road. Park by the historic site. Trailhead is across from the picnic / playground area.
