Laguna Point hosts organized whale watches during the gray whale migration season. An observation deck at the end of Laguna Point Boardwalk overlooks offshore rocks that harbor a large resident population of Harbor Seals.

  • Laguna Point juts out into the ocean at the southern end of the park, close to the campgrounds and visitor center.
  • At low tide, Laguna Point offers phenomenal tidepooling, but remember: NEVER remove any tidal creature from its location, not even by a foot.
