This trail offers access to the Sierra Ancha Wilderness and Indian ruins at Oak Creek Cabin. The trail drops into Coon Creek Canyon, passes through a riparian zone and a grove of Arizona Cypress. There are campsites at Oak Creek Cabin and Coon Springs.

Directions: From Young, Travel about 28 miles south on State Highway #288 turn east on FR #189 and travel 5 miles to the trailhead at Oak Creek Cabin. A high clearance vehicle is recommended for this road.
