The Pine Creek Trail was developed by the Bureau of Forestry on the abandoned railroad grade that parallels Pine Creek. The trail extends 62 miles south from Wellsboro Junction to Jersey Shore in the Tiadaghton State Forest. The trail is used primarily for bicycling, cross-country skiing and hiking. Leonard Harrison State Park offers access to this trail from Turkey Path Trail.
Directions: From Wellsboro, PA, Take PA Route 660 west from Wellsboro for 10 miles. Follow the park road until it ends at the visitor center. Begin on Turkey Path Trail from the west side of the center. Travel Turkey Path to the bottom of the gorge. It will terminate at Pine Creek Trail.
