Abington Trail is a multi-use trail located in the southern end of the park. It begins from the very first parking lot off SR 407. Your may travel in a southern direction following the park's boundary then swinging up to terminate on Frost Hollow Trail, which is also a horse and foot path. If you choose to travel north from the parking area, you will cross SR 407 and travel along the park's eastern boundary crossing the beautiful trout-stocked Kennedy Creek and up to Wallsville Road. There are several trails that intersect with this trail, some of which are foot paths. The trail travels through beautiful hardwood and pine forests in a remote setting.

Directions: From Waverly, PA, Travel SR 407 for 2.8 miles to the state park. Make your first left into the boat launch area. You may take the trail in a southerly direction to terminate on Frost Hollow Trail or travel in a northerly direction across SR 407.
