Explore the dunes and interdunal wetlands along Dunes Cordwalk Trail.

The Dunes Cordwalk is just north and south of the Sanderling Nature Center in the state natural area. Hikers walk on a 2.5 mile "cordwalk" (boards and rope) through the dunes with three lookout points and benches overlooking Lake Michigan and a rare interdunal marsh area.

Directions: From Sheboygan, WI, Travel I-43 to exit 120. Take County KK to the park entrance. Take the main park road north to nature center. Trail is north of the center. Signage is good.
