The Old Wade House Trail is a 1.7-mile hiking trail providing direct access to the Ice Age Trail from the Old Wade House State Historical Site in the village of Greenbush. Parking is provided at the Historical Site. The trail begins one block south on County Highway T and is marked by blue guideposts.

Late 19th century road travelers found a respite at Wade House from the clack and clatter of spoke wheels on wooden planks that stretched across a wilderness between Sheboygan and Fond du Lac. The Wade House Inn was an assured hot meal and warm bed. Sylvanus Wade desired a stately and gracious inn for Greenbush, one that would contrast dramatically from the wild frontier and become the center of a thriving business community. The New Englander's dream waned as the plank road gave way to other transportation advancements. After falling into disrepair, Wade House was restored during the 1950s thus bringing it back to life, this time for history buffs.
