Laurel Trail is a spur trail off Lakeshore Trail (after it crosses Saunders Creek) that enables the hiker to complete the loop trail around Holliday Lake when the 4-H Educational Center is conducting Clay Pigeon Programs in their new shotgun range. The trail is 1.2 miles and takes the visitor through a hardwood stand and down along Saunders Creek. Signage indicates when this trail must be used, but you can walk it anytime to enjoy the cool, sheltered forest.
