This trail was built especially for equestrians, mountain bikers and hikers. It is easy but long enough to fill the day.

This is an easy but lengthy multi-use trail. It is 14 miles long and extends into the Cumberland State Forest. This seldom used trail is a quick and pleasant get-a-away from the busy Richmond metropolitan area. Horse trailer parking is available.

Directions: From Cumberland, VA, The park is located in Cumberland County just off Rt. 60. Take Rt. 60 to Rt. 622 and then south onto Rt. 629 to the park entrance. Travel the main park road past last campground. Cumberland Multi-use Trail begins at this point.

Elevation: 450 feet

Elevation Gain: Minimal

Distance: 14 miles

Difficulty: Easy
