Campground A Trail is a short excursion for the curious hiker offering the same wildlife and plant life as the other trails.

This short 0.25-mile trail slices across one jut of Lakeside Trail and ends at the other jut. It makes an interesting side trip but is fairly short with no water view.

Directions: From Cumberland, VA, The park is located in Cumberland County just off Rt. 60. Take Rt. 60 to Rt. 622 and then south onto Rt. 629 to the park entrance. Travel main park road to second right. Turn and continue straight to one of the two Campground A's loops. Trail entrance is on east side of this camp loop.

Elevation: 450 feet

Elevation Gain: Minimal

Distance: 0.2 miles

Difficulty: Easy
