Lake O' the Dalles Trail is known as a wildlife viewing trail. You may get a glimpse of black bear, deer, fox, eagles or osprey. It circles the 23-acre Lake O' the Dalles connecting the beach area (Beach House) to the River Bottoms Picnic Area and to the reservable Camp Interstate Shelter. Forty yards of the trail follows the park road where a bridge crosses Dalles Creek. The trail is unsurfaced with stone stairs. There is access to the handicapped fishing pier.

Directions: From St. Croix Falls, WI, At the junction of Hwy. 35 and US 8, travel south on Hwy. 35 for half a mile. Turn right to enter the park. Take the main park road to River Bottoms Picnic Area. Trailhead parking is on the right side of the large loop after crossing Dalles Creek. (The trail may be accessed from the large riverfront lot as well.)
