The wide 2.3 mile trail is also a fire fighting equipment access road.

This wide 2.3 mile trail runs from SR 534 to the intersections of Pine Hill and Hickory Run Trails. Skyline Trail can be accessed from Fireline Trail. Approximately .5 mile from the trailhead is a nice overlook of the Lehigh Gorge State Park. Some visitors congregate here to watch the sunset. Fireline Trail is pretty, but sections of the path are hilly and very rocky making this a difficult hike.

Directions: From White Haven, PA, Take Interstate 80 to Exit 41. Drive east on PA 534 for 6 miles to reach the park. Trailhead parking is available in a small lot off SR 534.

Elevation: 500 feet

Distance: 2.3 miles

Difficulty: Strenuous
