Hiking is only part of the quiet recreation offered at Harrison Lake State Park.

A 3.5-mile hiking trail circles the lake and provides the opportunity to explore the scenic lakeshore and woodlands. Nearby picnic facilities, fishing opportunities and campground make for an enjoyable day visit or weekend excursion. After a summertime hike, visitors may enjoy a cool dip at the park's beach. Spur trails offer shoreline anglers an opportunity to land large and smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, bullhead catfish, and northern pike.
