This is one of the park's connector trails taking the visitor through aged hardwoods and stunning rhododendrons.

This 1.7-mile connector trail connects the visitor center to the campground. The vegetation along this path is what makes the trail interesting. The hiker will experience two elevations, one abundant with hardwoods and the other tunneled in rhododendron. Stampers Branch is blazed in yellow.
