This is a 4.5-mile wooded trail that begins at the Cox Hollow Lake beach and picnic area. At the south end of Cox Hollow Lake, the White Oak Trail joins the Pine Cliff Nature Trail. The nature trail leads hikers to the Enee Point picnic area. At Enee Point, hikers will have to walk one more mile along Cox Hollow Road to return to the starting point at Cox Hollow beach. The trail meanders around the lake and provides scenic overlooks of the lake and valleys below. While hiking this trail, you will encounter steps, several steep rocky grades, and rocky surfaces.

Directions: From Dodgeville, WI, Travel north along Hwy. 23 for 3 miles to the park entrance. Obtain map from park office drive-up window. Trailhead is at Cox Hollow Beach Area.
