Ridge Trail travels through an overgrown meadow then climbs into a hardwood forest.

This trail begins near the campground entrance where it intersects Lakeside Trail, then meanders through old overgrown pasture, then climbs into a maturing oak and hickory forest along the top of Straight Hill. The trail surface is dirt and can be rocky and there are some wet areas near the campground entrance. Stay on the trail to avoid prickly ash.

Directions: From Harrisburg, PA, Take Interstate 83 to the Lewisberry Exit 15. Travel southwest on SR 177 approximately 7 - 8 miles to the state park. Continue on SR 177 turning left on SR 74.
