This trail is best accessed from the Quaker Race Day Use Area or from the Cabin Colony for cabin occupants. This trail has a dirt or rocky surfaces, uneven terrain and one steep but short hill. This trail connects to Lakeside Trail at it ends to form a 3-mile loop that passes through diverse habitats.
Directions: From Harrisburg, PA, Take Interstate 83 to the Lewisberry Exit 15. Travel southwest on SR 177 approximately 7 - 8 miles to the state park. Stay on SR 177 and within a mile you will see Quaker Race Day Use Area. This area offers lake access and picnicking. The trail begins just beyond the gate.
