This interpretive trail has three loops of varying lengths which allow you take a short walk or an adventure of almost four miles.

Deer Trail is yellow-blazed and has three loops of varying lengths. The lengths are 1.3 mile - 2.5 miles and 3.8 miles. The interpretive trail allows you take a short walk or an adventure of almost four miles. This trail starts at the environmental interpretive center and passes through a diversity of habitats including lakeshore, thicket, hemlock stand, mixed forest, marsh and hardwood forest. A portion of this trail passes through hunting lands. Use caution when hiking in hunting seasons.

Directions: From Dallas, PA, Travel SR 309 east to Mt. Olivet Road taking it for 4.2 miles to the state park entrance. Travel the main park road making a right at the "T." Travel to the Environmental Interpretive Center. The trail begins there.

Elevation: 250 feet

Distance: 3.8 miles
