The Lakeshore Trail is very popular with anglers because it follows the shoreline for nearly its entire distance of 1.4 miles.

Lakeshore Trail is a red blaze trail that is 1.4 miles in length and considered easy. As the name implies, it follows the shoreline of the lake offering wonderful views and an opportunity to fish. This trail begins at the Campground Road bridge or the Big Pines Picnic Area.

Directions: From Dallas, PA, Travel SR 309 east to Mt. Olivet Road taking it for 4.2 miles to the state park entrance. Travel the main park road taking your first left. The trail begins just before crossing the bridge to enter the campground area.

Elevation: 250 feet

Elevation Gain: Minimal

Distance: 1.4 miles

Difficulty: Easy
