The white-blazed 1 mile hike may be accessed from the Stony Point parking lot or from behind the Organized Group Tenting Area. A short stretch of Campground Trail follows Larch Tree Trail. The trail travels along the park's eastern boundary then makes a short spur down to the southern end along Abraham's Creek. This trail is used as a snowmobile route during the winter months.

Directions: From Dallas, PA, Travel SR 309 east to Mt. Olivet Road taking it for 4.2 miles to the state park entrance. Stay on the main park road taking your first left with carries you across the eastern upper tip of the lake and back down into the campground area. Travel past the contact station and take a left into two of the camp loops. Take a right into Stony Point Camp Loop. At the back side, there is a small parking area. The trail begins there.
