This trail is located in the northern day-use area known as Militia Hill. It may be accessed from any of the parking lots within that area.

Fort Washington State Park offers 3.5 miles of moderate trail in the Militia Hill Day Use Area. The trail weaves around the hardwood forest and open fields. It travels north of Joshua Road creating two separate loops then back into the day-use area along the park's boundary along the picnic grove, playground and observation deck. There is also a .5 mile, self-guided nature trail located within this area.

The Green Ribbon Preserve Trail cuts through the Flourtown Day Use Area.

Directions: From Fort Washington, PA, Take the PA Turnpike to Joshua Road traveling south. Pass Militia Hill Road and turn left at the next road to go into the state park. The trail may be accessed from any of the parking lots.

Distance: 3.5 miles
