Fenton Lake is set in a forest of ponderosa pine with a feeling of isolated wilderness. The lake is primarily a fishing spot, as boats are limited to hand powered craft, and swimming is prohibited. The lake is stocked with trout in the spring and fall.
Directions: From Los Alamos, Take Highway 4 west to Highway 126.
