This 4.6 mile strenuous trail winds down along to a footbridge which spans Pilot Creek. The trail then traverses another footbridge over the Rubicon River. The trail culminates in ascending to Nevada Point Ridge Road.

Directions: From Georgetown, Travel 11 miles east on Wentworth Springs Road, turn north on Volcanoville Road. Go approximately 1-1/2 miles to Rubicon Road. Turn right and go approximately 2 miles to an uphill spur road to the right. This short road ends at the trailhead.

Elevation: 1,800 feet

Ending Elevation: 4,000 feet

Elevation Gain: 2,200 feet

Usage: Light

Difficulty: Strenuous
