Inaja Trail is easy hike that circles the point of land south of the Inaja Memorial Picnic Ground. The trail is 0.5-mile in length and is a National Recreation Trail. It is for hikers only. A brochure (trail guide) is available at the picnic area that explains local natural features using a map available at the picnic area. The trail offers views of the San Diego River while passing through various types of chaparral vegetation. Steps have been installed where the trail becomes steep. There is no water along the trail or at the picnic area.
Directions: From San Diego, CA, Take Interstate 8 east to Highway 67. Follow Hwy. 67 north to Ramona and the junction with Hwy. 78. Follow Hwy. 78 east to Santa Ysabel and then continue east on Hwy. 79 about 1 mile to the Inaja Memorial Picnic Area.

Elevation Gain: 100 feet
