The Long Trail is moderate loop up to 40 miles long. This trail follows Divide Road to Peter's Mt. Laurel Ridge Road, to Stepping Rock. At Stepping Rock, one prong continues N.E. to Blue Heron Mining Community and the other heads south via Miller Branch to Big Island at No Business Creek. Long Trail continues along the west side of the river to Station Camp Creek.

Directions: From Jamestown, Travel east on Hwy. 154 and turn right onto Divide Road. Continue for 1.5 miles and turn right onto Fork Ridge Road. Travel down this road and the trail begins at the Long Trail parking area. The trail can also be accessed from Charit Creek Lodge, or Station Camp East on the Big South Fork River.
