The Kentucky Trail is a moderate 27 mile trail that crosses several creek, offers river views and goes past the site of the first oil well in Tennessee.

Directions: From Blue Heron Mining Community, Cross tipple bridge to west side of river. After you cross the bridge, the Kentucky Trail leads north (right) to the Yamacraw Bridge (8 miles) and south (left) to Peters Mountain Trailhead o Divide Road (19 miles.)
