The trail begins alongside the railroad tracks and parallels them for about .5 mile until it makes a left turn crossing underneath, which incidentally they are still in use seasonally. From here the path travels into a mixed forest which turns into a forest of conifers affording occasional views including Mt. Bemis and Arethusa Falls. The trail terminates at Arethusa-Ripley Falls Trail. At this juncture, you may head north to view Ripley Falls (100' drop) or south to view Arethusa Falls (200' drop).
Directions: From Bartlett, NH, Travel north approximately 12 miles on US 302 to the park entrance. Soon after entering the park, you will see a parking lot with signage indicating Arethusa Falls. The trail begins in this lot.
