This relatively short hike takes you directly to New Hampshire's highest waterfall.

Arethusa Falls Trail takes you directly to the 200' drop of Arethusa Falls. The trail crosses the railroad tracks and heads southwest. You will see the small Bemis Brook Trail to the right which is just a little side path of .1 mile that exits farther down on Arethusa Falls Trail. You'll be hiking parallel to Bemis Brook which offers several attractive views of cascading waters. Arethusa Falls is located about 1.3 miles into the hike. From the falls, you may retrace your steps or head northbound onto Arethusa-Ripley Falls Trail to view the 100' drop of Ripley Falls.
