This trail begins right after the fork on SR 36 and just before the park office. The trail is 1.8 miles long and climbs the hemlock covered slopes above the Clarion River to cross the Fire Tower Road and Deer Park Trail. The trail then continues to SR 36 north of the Fire Tower Road and passes through attractive forests of hardwoods and more hemlock.

Directions: From Clarion, PA, Take US 322 west about 2.5 miles to SR 66 North. Take SR 66 approximately 12 miles to SR 36. Turn right (east) on SR 36 and travel about 4 miles to the state park. After entering the park, stay on the main park road to the park office. Trail begins just beyond the fork in the road on the right hand side.
