The River Trail begins along side the observation tower and continues for 1.5 miles. From this trail you will see great views of the Clarion River. The trail runs parallel to the river and then circles back to the Fire Tower Road.

Directions: From Clarion, PA, Take US 322 west about 2.5 miles to SR 66 North. Take SR 66 approximately 12 miles to SR 36. Turn right (east) on SR 36 and travel about 4 miles to the state park. The trail begins beside the observation tower.
