This is a wonderful path through a virgin hemlock forest.

The Joyce Kilmer Trail may be followed through 1.5 miles of virgin pine and hemlock. Starting in the big timber area on the Longfellow Trail, it crosses over the Rhododendron Trail and continues through hemlock, birch and rhododendron growth of upper Henry Run and ends on the Mausoleum Road.

Directions: From Clarion, PA, Take US 322 west about 2.5 miles to SR 66 North. Take SR 66 approximately 12 miles to SR 36. Turn right (east) on SR 36 and travel about 4 miles to the state park. The trail begins off the Longfellow Trail which runs north of Toms Run.

Elevation: 500 feet

Elevation Gain: Minimal

Distance: 1.5 miles

Difficulty: Easy
