This .27 mile trail connects the Old Doubling Gap Road Trail with Crooked Leg Trail. It does exactly what its name implies, makes for a nice short cut between the two trails. The trail is actually an old skid road from a logging operation in the 1970's.

Directions: From Newville, PA, Take SR 233 for 8 miles north of Newville. This trail connects Old Doubling Gap Road Trail and Crooked Leg Trail about midway on each trail.

Elevation: 1,000 feet

Elevation Gain: Minimal

Distance: 0.2 miles

Difficulty: Easy
