This trail forms a 1 mile loop located entirely in the park and is marked with a yellow blaze. It begins along the main park road near the vehicle bridge. Rattlesnake Trail is easy to moderate hiking, although a .4 mile section is rocky. This hike will take you through a mixed oak forest on the foothills of Blue Mountain.

Directions: From Newville, PA, Take SR 233 for 8 miles north of Newville. After entering the park, you will cross a small bridge over Doubling Gap Run. The trail begins along the south side of the main park from this point.

Elevation: 1,050 feet

Elevation Gain: 100 feet
