The North Ridge Trail is an old logging trail traveling north to south for a distance of .7 miles. It starts on the main park between Shelter No. 4 and the maintenance area. It travels uphill almost the entire length until it intersects with Hunter Trail.
Directions: From Brookville, PA, Take SR 36 north about 8 miles and turn right (east) onto SR 949. Take it north about 5 miles to the state park. Travel the main park road and park in the parking area for Picnic Shelter No. 4, which is the second lot on the left. The trail begins across the road up and about 100 feet.
