The Ox Shoe Interpretive Trail is an .8 mile loop trail along an old logging path. This trail has a separate pamphlet that leads you from station to station and tells you some of the logging history of Clear Creek. The pamphlet may be picked up at the nature center / ranger station. This trail is educational and interesting.
Directions: From Brookville, PA, Take SR 36 north about 8 miles and turn right (east) onto SR 949. Take it north about 5 miles to the state park. Travel the main park road to the cabin and nature center parking area. The trail begins across the road next to the restrooms.
