This is an easy 1.3-mile trail for either walking or biking. Sights of the James River are very scenic and oftentimes afford a glimpse of a great blue heron, osprey, or kingfisher. The trail passes through several habitats from woodland to wetland then terminates at the front of the visitor center.
Restrooms and soft drink machines are located around back of visitor center.
Directions: From Surry, VA, This lovely historical working planation is located in Surry County, Virginia just 5.5 miles east of Surry. The park is located on Rt. 634, just off Rt. 10. College Run Trail begins in the parking area across from the Visitor's Center and terminates at the Mansion.
