The Lowlands Trail runs between the State Game Lands service road and the railroad grade running from the campground through the State Game Lands. It is an easy trail across a foot bridge over the West Branch of Tionesta Creek, in and through a wetland area above the lake. The length of the trail, blazed in blue on white, is .2 miles and is a recommended way for hikers wanting to get from one side of the lake to the other.

Directions: From Warren, PA, Take US 6 south for about 5 miles turning right (west) onto Chapman Dam Road. Follow this road to the park. The trail may be accessed from either side of the lake, at the end of the roads. From the north side, access is along a dirt road and you may wish to park in the last parking lot at the end of the north road.
