Beaver Pond Trail may be accessed from a few different parking lots on the eastern side of the park. Most people begin on the trail from the boat launch area off Beaver Dam Road. At the end of the trail, you may hike the Moore's Hill Trail a short distance in an northerly directions to see the historic site of Hartman Kilns. This trail does travel past two ice skating ponds and a long cove where you may shoreline fish.
Directions: From Hollidaysburg, PA, Travel east on US 22 for 7 miles until you arrive at the small village of Canoe Creek. Travel past Turkey Valley Road turning left onto Beaver Dam Road. You will see a picnic / parking area on your left. The trail begins down by the boat launch.
