The Midland Trail is appropriately named because it travels between Thaddeus Stevens Historic Trail and the Whispering Pine Nature Trail. The trail travels past the Furnace Dam and terminates at the group camping site. It is a moderate trail that is a little under a mile in distance.

Directions: From Fayetteville, PA, Travel 4 - 5 miles east on US 30 and turn left onto Pine Grove Road. Once you enter the park, stay on the main road until you see the furnace dam. Right after that is group camping. The trail begins from the group site. There is also a trailhead along US 30 before the entrance.

Elevation: 500 feet
