Begin this eastern hike from the Fifty Springs Picnic Area. The length of the lake trail is 4.3 miles. In addition to endless views of the very scenic Caesar Creek Lake, trailblazers get an opportunity to see Pioneer Village, a collection of Quaker buildings from the 18th and early 19th centuries. Other points of interest include the park's nature center and Flat Fork. Picnic opportunities and fossil digging opportunities are available at Caesar Creek Gorge. Retrace your steps back to Fifty Springs Picnic Area. In winter, cross-country skiers use the trail.
Directions: From Waynesville, OH, Take State Route 73 about 2.5 miles east. Turn right onto Fifty Springs Road. Park in picnic area.
